Carletonite

is a Hydrated Potassium Sodium Calcium Carbonate Silicate Fluoride Hydroxide with formula

KNa4Ca4(CO3)4Si8O18 (F, OH) – H2O and hardness of 4.5-5.

It is found only in one location: the classic mineral locality on Mont Saint-Hilaire in Quebec, Canada and this piece is from the Poudrette quarry. Very few small gems has been cut and normally are never clean,even the best pieces are full of cleavage planes and flaws. This gem here is opaque to translucent.
