Is a phosphate of iron and manganese with formula (Fe3+,Mn3+)PO4 and hardness of 4-4.5.

Alluaudite is an Iron Phosphate with formula (Na,Ca)Mn2+(Fe3+,Mn2+,Fe2+,Mg)2(PO4)3 and hardness of 5-5.5.Here there are some blocky bright violet crystal aggregates formed by the intergrowth of Heterosite crystals (pseudomorphs after Triphylite), very rich together with olive green Alluaudite crystals.

It comes from Storm Mountain Pegmatite, Storm Mountain, Larimer Co., Colorado / USA.
